What is Chromium?

Chromium is a trace element nutrient which is required in very small amounts , which ensures the normal operation of certain biological functions.

One of these functions is to maintain normal levels of blood sugar. The concentration of blood sugar (glucose) usually increases in response to food intake. The levels of blood glucose should neither increase nor reduce drastically. With a sugar metabolism functioning normally, glucose is inserted into the bloodstream and transported to the cells, which convert it into energy.
