Organic farming carob, PT-BIO-04 Agriculture EU. Obtained from the carob pods through a grinding process. It tastes very sweet and slightly similar to chocolate. It is used in regimes where sugar and chocolate are not advisable. High fiber content.
 
Carob is a healthy food and of high nutritional value, contains vitamin B1- ideal for the proper functioning of the nervous system, muscles, heart and improvement in mental attitude and reasoning.
It also contains a high content of vitamin A, which is essential for bone and tooth growth, skin vitality and vision health. It also has a high content of vitamin B2, responsible for extracting energy from fats, proteins and carbohydrates in our body, calcium, magnesium and iron.

 
The carob contains no gluten and has a very high antioxidant potential. Carob meal is produced through carob powder.
 
Carob flour has a large difference compared to cocoa in sugar and fat content. While the cocoa has up to 23% fat and 5% sugar, the carob has 0.7% fat and a high natural sugar content, around 38 to 45%.

How to use:
In the preparation of desserts, potatoes, cakes, bread or to engorssar sauces and fillings.
